TITANIUM: Tools for the Investigation of Transactions in Underground Markets

TITANIUM Field Labs: Round Two

Vienna (08 July 2019)

Since January 2019 TITANIUM is organising Field Labs to test forensics tools and services that will support national law enforcement agencies in identifying criminal trade flows through cryptocurrencies. The second round of Field Labs will start in fall. The kick-off meeting will take place on Thursday 10th October 2019.

This is an opportunity to join specialists from four European countries to test effectiveness as well as ethical and legal compliance of forensics tools and services developed by TITANIUM.

From the beginning, TITANIUM tools have been designed to conform with national data protection regulations. The ultimate purpose of the tools is to support security experts detecting court-proof evidence related to crimes involving virtual currencies.

Before the Filed Labs, TITANIUM will organise a training session to assist cyber/digital investigators in becoming confident and effective instructors and to subsequently become certified to deliver TITANIUM courses.
